# Kern Products Guide

<mark style="color:blue;">**Setup:**</mark>

1. Download and install Microsoft Visual C++ from [HERE](https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe)
2. Uninstall any antivirus, deactivation is not enough
3. Disable Real Time protection in Windows Defender, you should use [THIS](https://www.sordum.org/9480/defender-control-v2-1) tool
4. Close any game or launcher (Steam, Origin, Bnet, etc.) and disable any overlay (Discord, Geforce Experience, MSI Afterburner, MedalTV, etc.)
5. Disable both [Game Mode](https://windowsreport.com/disable-game-mode) and [GPU Acceleration](https://windowsreport.com/hardware-accelerated-gpu-scheduling) in your Windows settings
6. Make sur you don't start game or launcher as admin privileges
7. Download your loader by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page and move it on your USB flash drive \[**USB recommended but not needed**]
8. Open the loader as admin and login with your key *(in the email received after your purchase)*
9. Click on "Start" and wait the success popup
10. Loader close and you can remove your USB from your PC
11. Start launcher then open your game
12. Make sure your game is in "Borderless" or "Windowed" in settings

<mark style="color:$danger;">**Troubleshooting:**</mark>

**The Essential Troubleshooting**

1. Restart your computer and simply retry again.
2. Install Microsoft Visual C++ by visiting <https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe>.
3. Completely disable Windows Defender by using the tool available at <https://www.sordum.org/9480/defender-control-v2-1>.
4. Uninstall any other antivirus software, including Windows Defender.
5. Uninstall FaceIt, Vanguard, ESEA (anticheats which always run in background).
6. Disable any overclocking and remove applications like MSI Afterburner. Reset BIOS settings to default if needed.
7. Ensure that Secure Boot is disabled in the BIOS settings.
8. Disable Memory Integrity in Windows Device Security - Core isolation.
9. Ensure that Windows is up to date (Windows 11 is recommended).

#### Loader startup errors (0xR / 0xD / 0xI) or infinite loading

1. Follow the essential troubleshooting steps mentioned above.
2. Try starting the loader with and without a VPN.
3. If not using a VPN or if the issue persists, disable any other VPN services and try using free Cloudflare VPN (download from [https://1.1.1.1](https://1.1.1.1/)).
4. Attempt connecting from another network or using a different connection spot (e.g., tethering from your phone).

#### Overlay disappears or does not show

1. Follow the essential troubleshooting steps mentioned above.
2. Set the game to Borderless mode instead of Fullscreen.
3. Disable any other overlays, such as NVIDIA Geforce, Discord, Medal, Benchmarking tools.
4. Disable GPU acceleration in Windows Settings.
5. Disable Game Mode in Windows Settings.
6. Reinstall and update your GPU software and drivers.
7. Try launching the game from the launcher instead of a desktop shortcut.
8. Avoid disabling the watermark (in the misc tab).

#### **Laggy overlay**

1. Limit the game's FPS until the menu stops lagging.
2. Lower the game's graphics settings.
3. Toggle VSYNC on/off in the game settings (For Call of Duty: enable ingame DLSS for NVIDIA or Fidelity for AMD).
4. Disable Fullscreen Optimizations in the game's .exe properties.
5. Disable Intel Turbo Boost by adjusting the Maximum Processor State to 99% in Windows Power SettingsOptions.
6. Reset, reinstall and update your GPU software and drivers.
7. Avoid recording, screen sharing, or playing videos in the background.

#### **Can't click in the menu**

1. Do not start the game or launcher as an administrator (Steam, Origin, etc.).

#### **Error (0xC1843): An Antivirus or Anticheat Running**

1. Identify the problematic software using the provided image (<https://ibb.co/8dLhfNk>).
2. Uninstall the problematic software from the Programs installed section in Windows.
3. If unable to uninstall, open Command Prompt as an administrator and enter the following command, replacing "vgk" with the appropriate software name:
4. `sc stop vgk`\
   `sc delete vgk`

#### **ESP shifted, not feat with players / specific screen resolutions**

1. Set your game to display on only one screen.
2. Ensure that the game resolution is set to 16:9 (ultra-wide screens with a 21:9 aspect ratio are not supported).
3. Ensure that the game is set to borderless mode.

#### **Aimbot not working / slow**

1. **Uninstall any mouse software, such as Ghub or Razer Synapse, and try again.**

**Aimbot is too slow ?**

* Aimbot sensitivity depends on mouse sensitivity. Lower the sensitivity if the aimbot is not accurate.
